“The refrigeration industry, like most technical industries, has struggled to attract and train the talent needed to consistently deliver on our brand promise,” according to Hussmann Vice President – Branch Operations, Ashley Turner. “At Hussmann, our promise is to ‘continuously provide the most customer focused solutions in the food retailing industry.’  In order to deliver on this promise, we needed a program aimed at delivering new talent to our industry.”

Hussmann teamed with Lincoln Tech to build the TechX training facility at the Lincoln campus in Grand Prairie. The TechX Training Center is outfitted with Hussmann commercial refrigeration units and other equipment so that students can build skills specifically suited to Hussmann technologies.

“Our partnership with Lincoln Tech, along with the development of our TechX Program, is providing the emerging talent we need to continue Hussmann’s promise for decades to come,” Turner says. “We’re excited about our success and are continuing to improve the program for the future.”
