This program is designed to provide the essential skills and knowledge for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of commercial and residential, emergency, stand by and prime power generator systems. Students learn Basic AC and DC principles along with the calculations of a system’s Power Factor.

Students will be introduced to complete diesel generator systems and all related components. Students will learn to upload files and use diagnostic software to troubleshoot the unit The program also prepares students on the essential skills and knowledge needed for entry-level residential electrician work.
